{"id":1789,"date":"2014-08-30T13:31:52","date_gmt":"2014-08-30T13:31:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sarahwalko.com\/blog\/?p=1789"},"modified":"2014-08-30T13:32:15","modified_gmt":"2014-08-30T13:32:15","slug":"1789","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sarahwalko.com\/blog\/1789\/","title":{"rendered":"Small Pleasures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Small Pleasures&#8221; is designed for the facade of the Ulrich Museum of Art (Wichita, KS) in place of Joan Miro&#8217;s monumental mosaic Personnages Oiseaux. Miro\u2019s mural is under restoration from 2012 through 2016. The installation consists of a pixelated print on a billboard-sized banner covering the facade, a small waterproof display case mounted in the middle of the banner, and two telescopes installed across the street for the viewing of miniature works displayed in the case.
